Miracle: Walking on water

Fourth Sunday of Lent

The disciples were terrified when Jesus walked on water, especially amidst strong winds and darkness. In the ancient world, the sea symbolized death and chaos. Yet, Jesus declared, “It is I” (the same as “I Am”). This declaration revealed Him as the Great I Am who split the Red Sea for Israel’s salvation. This miracle comforts us in life’s storms, showing us we need not fear because Jesus is Lord over all.
