Hope

Dear Restoration,

On this Thanksgiving Day, I’m reminded that our tradition calls Holy Communion “The Great Thanksgiving.” The healing, salvation, and new life we have in Christ is the grace that invites gratitude. I am grateful for you and for the beautiful community God is shaping among us. We know our world is hurting with isolation, division, and brokenness. My prayer is that gratitude will overflow into healing work, so our lives reflect God’s goodness and grace in the days ahead. This Sunday we begin Advent and a new series, For Such a Time as This. Together we will explore how God’s hope, favor, compassion, justice, and peace meet our world right now. I encourage you to be in worship throughout Advent. After worship, we will gather for a lunch meet and greet with Gris, the new executive director of Leadership Mission International. Please RSVP so that we can prepare accordingly.

With gratitude,

Daniel
